Aston International Launches The favehotel Brand in Indonesia
Jakarta – Indonesia, 13 April 2009 – Indonesia’s leading international hotel group, Aston International, launched its fast growing 2 star budget “favehotel” brand to Indonesia. The brand is set to excite budget oriented travelers looking for something beyond traditional hotel offerings.
favehotel which derives its name from the word “favorite” will be Aston’s seventh brand in the region after Grand Aston Hotels & Resorts, Aston Hotels and Resorts, Aston City Hotels, Quest Hotels & Resorts, Kamuela Villas and Royal Kamuela Villas.
Since its recent launch there has already been enormous interest from developers in all parts of the country looking to develop a quality budget hotel for the increasing number of travelers in Indonesia.
Two favehotels are set to open in Bali shortly; the first one in Imam Bonjol and the second in central Denpasar. Several others are in the final stages of negotiations in various locations across Indonesia. The favehotel concept is set to revolutionize the budget hotel experience for people looking for value while not compromising on quality.
“favehotel really meets the needs of the next generation of customers in Asia Pacific who demand a stylish, inexpensive and individual hotel experience without pretentiousness,” said Norbert Vas, VP Sales & Marketing of Aston International. “Each favehotel offers a unique combination of contemporary design, friendly and efficient service and a no nonsense value approach to the lodging sector. With the launch of favehotel, there is now a new way for guests to experience Indonesia’s major cities and a new path for real estate developers to develop highly profitable properties with their own creative flair.”
Sources close to the Hotel Industry have stated that some of Indonesia’s major developers have approached Aston to negotiate multiple property developments for hundreds of favehotels within the upcoming years.
Aston International conducted extensive consumer research in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Surabaya, Denpasar and Medan to understand traveler’s insight and needs about budget hotels versus traditional local 2 star hotels, what consumers truly would appreciate in order to clearly differentiate the favehotel proposition. The results clearly showed that regional travelers show great interest in style and design, do not want to make compromises in areas such as staff friendliness, cleanliness and safety and appreciate individual character and a fair price.
